May. 12th, 2006 08:10 amI am so doped up right now, you guys, you have no idea. Combining excedrin and allegra = good times for me. It's a good thing no one else is in the office yet because, yeah, they already think I'm weird enough.
Listening to the Da's CSNY cd (which I love, of course) and I can't help but wonder where the good protest rock of my generation is? I'm listening to 'Ohio' and thinking about Kent State and everything that happened there and suddenly I want to run across the street and bang on the door of the state capitol and demand they do something about everything, anything. That's the power of music, people, it inspires and, and, I'm to scattered to think of more adjectives but you know what I mean. Maybe it's just easier to look back and appreciate the past than it is to know what to do in the present. It's easier to see the past clearly because we can see through different points of view but the present is murkier because the choices are our's to make and the mistakes are our's to own.
omg, so high
Poseidon opens today and it has Johnny Drama in it! I had a dream a week ago or so about how I was hanging out with the Entourage posse and how Eric and I took rifles to intimidate someone who was bad-mouthing Vince and then Vince and I were scouting out locations for this historical epic/Western thing that we were going to film (I was the producer, of course). 'Twas great fun. And I know that, like, hardly anyone on the f-list watches Entourage but you should be 'cause it's great. Total crack-y fun.
Oh! Before I forget! Some fun TV news. Nightmares & Dreamscapes (based on the Stephen King short story collection) is TNT's big mini-series event this summer. It stars Ron Livingston and Eion Bailey in separate installments with Rob Bowman directing a few of them as well. ABC recently announced they've picked up a new cop drama for next season called The Inside with Adam Baldwin *hums 'Hero of Canton'* And over here is a great cast picture of Ron and Gina and Michael looking all smoking hot (though, Bull, seriously, shave the goatee, I'm so not a fan. I might have facial hair issues).
Hungry now, off to find food.
