Apr. 3rd, 2006 09:19 pmHave been having some weird dreams lately, I'm not sure if they're anxiety dreams or what but the running theme is classes are coming to an end and I haven't been going to class so I have to hurry and study for finals/write a paper. I'd be a lot more worried if I were actually in school at the moment.
I spent some time at the bookstore today and worked on the prequel to 'Burn My Sins Away'. While there I observed a 10/11 year-old boy with a tutor. One of the books they were talking about was a Harry Potter book (I think Prisoner of Azkaban). This amused me greatly. I really enjoy writing at the bookstore, there's always something going on so when my brain is being a brat I can stare at what everyone else is doing and let all of the thoughts percolate. I'm also glad that I have illegible handwriting because occasionally someone I know, like the sister of my high school BFF, will come up and say hi and saying that you're writing, period, is much more mainstream acceptable then saying, 'I'm writing Harry Potter fanfiction'. For some reason that doesn't go over very well in most 'normal' circles.
That last paragraph is my rambly way of saying that fandom rulz my life.
I got my Multiverse 2006 assignment today. It's very, very exciting.
Narnia comes out tomorrow. I'm too excited for words.
ETA: iTunes is on a big time Beatles kick tonight. I <3 The Beatles but, seriously, not in the mood. Obviously iTunes and I have not had enough time to bond.

Date: 2006-04-04 04:51 am (UTC)And I may delve into Marauder fic, due to my current unhealthy obsession with Sirius Black. Obsession so bad that I checked "Prisoner of Azkaban" out of the campus library for extra reading. Oh, dear.
Fandom is not a part of normal society. Fandom runs in circles around it.
