Am feeling particularly antisocial today so, in lieu of anything else, I bring you some fic/fandom recs.

Disoriented, Demented, and a Little Nuts by fox1013. Muppets/RPF. Crack in the purest form and you don't need to know all of the actors mentioned to laugh till you pass out.

Byzantium by sloanesomething. BSG/L&O:SVU. This is all sorts of cracky, angsty goodness.

Too Solid Flesh by queenofthorns. BSG. Spoilers for Season 2 Finale. Lee and his noodle-icious manpain.

Building Steam From a Grain of Salt: The Story of Ari Gold by hackthis. Entourage/RPF. I don't care if you've never seen an episode of Entourage cause this story is still one of the greatets fics you'll read this week, if not ever. Ari cannot be denied.

Scenes From an Occupation by ingrid_m. BSG. Spoilers for Season 2 Finale.

Fabulous BSG photoshopped humour by absolut3destiny. Spoilers for 'Lay Your Burdens Down, Pt. I'.

Well, my deep, dark fic finding secret is that I peruse a friends of friends list. voleuse is a good author of one offs in various fandoms but she also has an f-list that's just chock full of all sorts of fun people who write good stuff. It's not great all of the time but I do tend to find pay dirt with decent consistency.

Plus, you know, I have a lot of time on my hands. =D

And may I say that I completely agree re: your vmail message last night. But the, I've observed that there are some fans out there who are terribly invested in Lee and his prettiness. Personally, I thought it was a great touch. Why can't it be October now? </ whine>

This thing I'm not writing may not actually be postable. It's mostly just me indulging in my Chieflove. If I don't post it, though, I will send it to you.

Yes, re: Lee and his fatsuit. I read QoT's big post on it today, and she makes many very good points, including that she first loved Lee because of teh pretteh. But ... I dunno. Maybe we're just freaks because we liked the finale in general, and Fat Lee--I agree, it was a really cool character thing.

I did read yesterday that in the podcast (haven't listened yet) RDM says that James C stayed up drinking all night before he did that President Baltar wakes up a year later scene, just so he'd look as if he'd spent the night drinking, drugging, and whoring. :-)
