So, in the past couple of days there's been all this family drama with me not getting my unemployment check and checks bouncing left and right and my mother opening my mail and making a huge deal out of it even though there was nothing to be done and me not wanting to borrow money from them because I might not be getting any money for forever and so I was feeling icky and ornery and like a big ol' failure who was only and will only ever be a burden on my family and *deep breath* so I ran away to the bookstore today for 5 hours and read the latest Robert Jordan book because it was there and, yeah, and I didn't take my phone so my mom was really upset but then my check came and no, Christmas isn't cancelled after all and everything's okay, mostly.

Though I still wish my mother wouldn't read my mail.

Get all that? Good, let's carry on then. =D

Oy the Pup is stinky tonight. What has he been eating? (I know, I know, TMI)

Lost was extremely excellent last night. For the record I must state that I really like Ana Lucia. I know that's not a generally held opinion by many in the fandom universe but I can't help it. She was willing to stand up and take responsibility for leading her group of survivors even though things were going to shite and there was absolutely no hope. She made mistakes and by the end wasn't exactly sane but she always stood up and made the tough decisions. If Jack had been in her shoes he would have been a raving mess within a week.

Bernard had me in tears when he was asking Mr. Eko if he had seen his wife's body in the water. WAH! He broke my heart. I can't wait to see their reunion. It'll be nice to have an old married couple on the beach, they can have a little hut that faces the ocean where they'll offer cogent advice and hugs to everyone who needs them.

I also truly love Mr. Eko. He's a man of layers and quiet strength. Love, love, so much love.

And let's not forget about the psychologist, Libby (I think her name was). I was extremely impressed by the way she talked that man through the pain as she set his extremely fractured leg. She's fascinating and just as broken as everybody else that was on that side of the island.

It'll be fascinating to see how the two sides coalesce, especially after Shannon's accidental death. Next week we'll see some of that. We'll also apparently be seeing Kate hold Sayid as he mourns for Shannon (moving in a little fast there, aren't we?) and a confrontation between him and Ana Lucia. I have a feeling that it's not going to be as violent as people think it is. I'm hoping for a much more complex and rewarding emotional moment.

I'm thinking that J.J. has stopped creating the new characters. It's like he told the writing staff who they would be but left the details up to them because everybody in the tail section felt much more three-dimensional and real then some of the other characters did at first. There wasn't a Mary Sue/Marty Stu among them.

Just a fantastic episode.

I see that the holiday wishlists are starting to pop up again and because I got my check I can now send people stuff, yay! I love the Holidays and I love putting together boxes to send to people. I also adore sending out cards. So, if anyone wants a card and I didn't send one to you last year just let me know and I will put your name down on the list. It doesn't matter if you live in Timbuktu, if you want a card then I will dance a jig, fill one out and send it to you, no problem.

Wow, I'm quite the Queen of the Run-On Sentence tonight, aren't I? =D
