liptonrm_backupWow, did last night really happen? Everything just kind of blurs together, doesn't it?
So, the LSAT prep course I'm taking has all of these internet tutorial/quiz thingies that I have to do. I did one yesterday and I swear I performed worse afterwords then I did going into it. It only succeeded in knotting up my brain even more and killing any confidence I had in doing the problems. Wow, that's really quite the achievement for them. They should be ever so proud of themselves, if, of course, they're whole objective is to make my score go down.
The Lost re-viewing carries on, anon. Got through 1.4 and 1.5 (Walkabout [Locke] & White Rabbit [Jack]) last night. It's absolutely fascinating to go back and be able to analyze how everything evolved throughout the season. You really can't get a full sense of it at the time. It makes even the most boring of characters more fascinating, yes, even Kate. I know, I'm shocked too.
It's amazing how, even after only a single day, one's life begins to revolve around meal times. I eat breakfast and tell myself that in only a few hours I'll be able to eat lunch. I'd forgotten how all-consuming diets are. Most vexing and I desire results post haste because my soul craves carbs and I have to deny, deny, deny. It's hard to tell one's soul no.
And this is only after a single day. Sheesh. *rolls eyes* I'm sure the bitching will decrease as time goes on. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to the gym on Friday. *fingers crossed*
My Favorite Coworker has finally started back at work after her whole surgery debacle. Thank goodness, I'd missed her quite a bit.
ETA: So, I mentioned earlier this year that it would be fun to do a read through of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe before the movie came out. I would still really like to do this. Have created a new community![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
fansreading just for this purpose. I figure that after we've read through Lion we can go on to read other books, as recommended. Anyway, check it out and spread the word.
