May. 12th, 2005 11:02 amAm off to dogsit at the parents' house tonight as they are going out of town and the Pup needs love and attention. And walks. Have already heard from the Mum 6 times this morning and expect at least 20 more phone calls before midnight.

Charlie and Claire and Turniphead = Twu Wuv!!! The absolute cutest scene of the night was Claire cutting Charlie's hair as he was playing the guitar. Horrible things are going to happen to them, aren't they? No one can stay happy on a show like this for long. Just look at Shannon and Sayid, they're all happy and cute and then BOONE DIES! I don't know how much pain I'll be able to handle.
Speaking of Shannon, she was looking pretty haggard last night, wasn't she. Poor girl. *pets*
If Locke is Batman then Sayid is the Green Lantern and Jack is Superman. And the scene by the hatch was great, what with the animosity between Locke and Jack and Sayid standing there all sexily weighing his options.
How much do I love that Jin and Michael have become fast friends? I also love how close Michael and Walt are growing, Michael's a good dad, not a perfect dad but he's willing to do whatever is right for his son and whatever makes him happy. The scene where Walt confessed setting the fire was one of my favorite of the night. And what the hell is behind that hatch? I want to know but I also really, really, really don't want them to open it. Sayid had a point and if Walt says not to open the damn thing then Locke, DON'T OPEN IT!
Have you noticed the subtle way in which I have been avoiding Kate? Because I have and she still sucks. Actually, I did enjoy the scene where she and Mackenzie, errr, Tom the Doctor, were digging up the time capsule, Evangeline had an easygoing comfortable vibe and Mac was just too cute for words.
Obviously Kate was abused as a child and killed her father and so her mother is afraid of her. This all began Kate's life of crime and afterwards she went out and was at the very least implicated in something really horrible that was the cause for the huge man-hunt. Or perhaps
baylorsr, her Sister and I have been watching too much Law & Order: SVU together.
Hurley is my King and we are all sitting around a campfire every night trading gossip. See, I was behind the bushes when Kate and Sawyer had their big, emotional (ie: Josh Holloway was emoting) confrontation and then I scurried back and told Hurley and Steve and Bill Nye (you know, the science teacher who's name I've forgotten) and
baylorsr, whose glasses were broke in the crash, all about the drama. We are the island's true ruling council.

audiography, an mp3 sharing comm, and today someone posted a great track from the Team America: World Police soundtrack.
Sample lyrics: "I miss you more than Michael Bay missed the mark when he made Pearl Harbor. I miss you more then that movie missed the point, and that's an awful lot, girl, and now you've gone away and all I'm trying to say is Pearl Harbor sucked, and I miss you." BWAH!

My snarky Kate comment for the night:
Dear Lost Crew: Learn how to use wigs. It is possible for a woman with long hair to wear a wig and not have her hair look like Miss Piggy's. You have an enormous budget. Splurge a little on the small things.

Date: 2005-05-12 03:50 pm (UTC)That freakin' wig looked like some sort of bad mullett. And what was up with the whole, 'we're not going to show her face until she's in the shower' thing? It's not like we couldn't tell who it was. And she is the most selfish person on the planet. If your best buddy, love of your life and new father to an adorable Astin child won't get out of the car then you freaking give yourself up.
Well, I suppose JJ figured that if he could never actually kill a hobbit on the show he'd at least kill a hobbit's brother. Bastard.
