It's cold, it's snowing, I had to dig my coat out of the backseat of my car at a completely un-holy hour this morning, but here I am, chained to my desk and counting down the days till Thanksgiving. I adore baking and I can't wait to get started on all of those yummy Thanksgiving dessert I have planned. I would subscribe to every cooking magazine possible, if I only had the money;-).

Woohoo! U-M beat the pants off OSU on Saturday, and your's truly was in the stands to see it! There is nothing like watching an emotionally charged game at the Big House, nothing like seeing a rivalry so intense heated to the boiling point. I swear I had a heart attack at some point during the game, and my language was really vile every time OSU made a decent play, but the truly superior team came out on top, as they so richly deserved. HA! Take that you sodding Buckeyes! I swear, every time I heard the OSU fight song or saw their fucking nut-headed mascot prance around the field I felt that the homicide I was being tempted into would be completely justified. Not one of my more altruistic moments, but then football is anything but an altruistic sport. (BLOOD!)

Anyway, 35-21, final score. The Wolverines are the Big Ten Champs and have been unofficially invited to the Rose Bowl (pending the outcome of all the other BCS B/S). Triumph really is sweet. Oh yeah, one more random game thing, the U-M Marching Band, during their halftime show, played highlights from various Oscar winning scores and included in that was a huge highlight from the Fellowship of the Ring score. Where they played maybe two minutes of Gone With the Wind or Gladiator they played at least ten minutes of Fellowship. I always love it when my disparate obsessions are brought together;-). Okay, I'll admit it, I squeed like a fangirl;-).

Now, I just have to survive for the rest of the week. The victory will go a long way to helping me float through these next few days;-).

I'm jealous as all hell! Wish I was there! Instead, my cats had to run in terror as I jumped off the couch screaming after every touchdown. Go BLUE!!

HaHa! It was great. I think I have to give my great-uncle (the guy who got us tickets) a great big, sloppy kiss. Maybe two kisses, one for me, one for Heather;-).

Poor cats, they just can't comprehend the greatness of U-M football.

You got to see BNL?! Now I'm jealous, though not so jealous that I would have given up my OSU ticket;-). Can't wait to see them, myself, though it won't be quite the same...
