Woke up this morning with the allergy headache from hell. Of course, did not realize it was anything other then morning grogginess until I got to work where, of course, there are no drugs. Damnit.

In going over my eternal Netflix queue I noticed that I have a lot of movies in there simply because they have one actor or another in the cast.

Veronica Guerin & The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou - Cate Blanchett
Intermission - Colm Meaney
Frankenstein (2004) - Alec Newman
Luther - Joseph Fiennes
King of Texas & The Lion in Winter (2004) - Patrick Stewart
Wimbledon - Paul Bettany
Buffalo Soldiers - Joaquin Phoenix
Mystery, Alaska & Dreamkeeper - Scott Grimes
Deterrence - Sean Astin
p.s. & In Good Company - Topher Grace
And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself & The Home Front - Eion Bailey
Flight of the Phoenix (2004) - Miranda Otto
44 Minutes & Two Ninas - Ron Livingston
Being Julia - Annette Bening
Closer - Natalie Portman
Borstal Boy - Shawn Hatosy, Robin Laing and Mark Huberman

Oy, even when my boss actually gives me something to do it is still one of the most boring projects in the history of all work. *repeats 'am grateful for job, it pays the bills' ad infinitum*

Do not believe anything [livejournal.com profile] baylorsr may have reported on comments I supposedly made last night. She is clearly delusional.

I have a small arsenal of medication, if you need to come over and let me supply you with drugs. Of course, they're probably the cause of all my delusions.

You'll love love love Mystery, Alaska. It's a great movie.

Have some soda. If the spaciness does not clear up by noon I may come bug you for drugs, delusion-inducing or no.

Am looking forward to Myster, Alaska, it sounds like a hoot.

I can speak for Buffalo Soldiers, Mystery, Alaska, and And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself. All three are great movies. I highly recommend them.

Yay! I love it when my boys are in good movies. It's like icing on cake, not completely necessary to insure my enjoyment but guaranteed to make everything better.

Exactly. I have watched many movies for a lot less than "decent plot". "Hot Guy" is usually all it takes. (though there was that horrible, awful movie League of Extraordinary Gentlemen which could not be saved even by having Sean Connery, Stuart Townsend, Richard Roxburgh, Max Ryan, Tony Curran, and Shane West in it)

I do that too, watch films because of the actors.
