Am alone at work today. Party at my office, ya'll! Come on, it'll be great. The coffee and pastries will flow from downstairs, we can be loud and obnoxious as we want and there will be more then enough hobbits, paratroopers, vampire slayers and aliens resistance fighters to go around! It'll be glorious. And then that winter storm will finally blow into town and we'll be stuck here all night and that'll be even more fun!

Watched the Oscars last night. Shut up, I watch the Oscars every year, it's a thing. Enjoyed some things (Chris Rock, Morgan Freeman, Cate Blanchett YAY!) and hated other things (what was up with presenting in the aisles? How many people did Beyonce sleep with in order to become the Oscar vocalist of the year? Hilary Swank, WHY?!!??). I was most annoyed when the audience clapped through the In Memoriam segment (Jerry! *sob*). It's just rude, you're applauding because this person is dead?! A respectful silence is much nicer, also considering that they had Yo-Yo Ma up there performing and your obnoxious applause kept on drowning him out! Show some class Hollywood, sheesh.

I am rather disgruntled that Martin Scorsese and The Aviator didn't win, not because I've seen it (though I mean to) but because I dislike Clint Eastwood's movies and don't feel they're as great as most people seem to think they are. Mystic River tops my list of 'movies that I would burn from my memory, if only I could'.

Had a story breakthrough the other night and it's all thanks to hiyacynth's wonderful AW soundtrack. Thanks, buddy.

Must go out and buy more chips and soda and prepare for the End of the World.

OMG, I was just about to respond saying that, the BoB muse had unfortunately not bitten me but had rather found the plot of the story that's been slipping around my brain for around five years now when suddenly Garcia started talking to me. He says that I really need to tell his story and that I need to get cracking on it right away.

She has been quiet of late, hasn't she? I talked to her last week over email when she threatened to send Krycek, Joe Toye and Locke to abduct me if I didn't make it down for Lost this week (I missed last week) but haven't heard a peep for a couple days. But ignoring your phone calls, that's strange.
