liptonrm_backupI've been rereading a lot of long, plotty fanfic at work this past week. I am bored, what can I say.

yahtzee63, it being one of the few Harry Potter fics that I can actually stand, and I came across the funniest thing. The story has at its center a dystopic, what if Voldemort won? supposition and in a certain scene Hermione has a most amusing dialogue with a resistance member who is trying to talk her into using her feminine wiles to procure information.
Someone else sniped, "You know, there IS a war on."
Hermione shot back, "But, somehow, I'm not a whore just yet."
She says that likes it's a bad thing, poor dear. Course, her target is obviously no paratrooper.
