I'm so damn tired. My personal theory is that the portion of humanity that is destined to live in the Great White North is also destined to hibernate during the darkest and coldest months of the year. The fact that we do not goes against nature and all common sense and is the reason for all that is wrong with America. Actually, Pearl Harbor is the shining example of all that is wrong with America, but the fact that only bears are allowed to hibernate comes in a very close second.

The Golden Globe nominations were announced today. You can see them over here. I chronically bitch and moan about award shows but I still end up watching the big ones. And yes, for some inconceivable reason The Golden Globes is one of the big ones.

Have way too much to do to get ready for Christmas. I still have fudge to make and give to various people, a Kirkmas party to prepare for and presents to wrap. The closer and closer it gets to the 25th the more and more anxious I get about the presents that have not arrived in the mail yet. However, thanks to my insomnia of last night the lights are finally up in my front window.

Yeap, the Norse were right, the world is definitely ending in ice.

And also, WTF is up with the Golden Globes? I mean, I know they're BS anyway, but why is Jamie Foxx not nominated for Ray? Why is Ray not nominated for anything?

Ray and Jamie Foxx are nominated, but it's under the Musical, Comedy category and not the Drama one. The Golden Globes are weird, weird, weird.

Jamie Foxx is also nominated in the Supporting Actor, Drama category for Collateral.
