LOLOL I was supposed to starty my externship today. Except my new boss forgot I was coming and he was still on vacation. So now I will now prepare for my my second first day. ;-)

Also, trufax. Castiel = Princess Leia. I defy you to watch Empire Strikes Back and not reach the exact same conclusion.

I am a sad panda who doesn't have any money and can't buy the SPN s.5 dvds. Never fear, I am sure I will acquire them in the near future. I hear everyone on the gag reel is super-gay, though.

Mad Men this week was full on awesome. I'll admit, it made me cry. I'm really hoping that they finally let Don start to climb out of the abyss. Because I was ready to smack him around but good.

Also, Peggy is awesomer than everyone else ever. And that's not a spoiler.

In sum: Sam Winchester might equal Luke Skywalker but he totally looks like Chewbacca.

OMG I totally agree re: Mad Men's awesome this week. I think that Don will start to get his shit together now because a) OMG getting really boring and annoying, b) he now knows that people (read: Peggy, whose opinion I think [especially now] means more to him than some others') know exactly how big a fuck-up he's been recently, and c) the thing he's been dreading for months has now happened and maybe he can move forward instead of floundering in a sea of angst. Yeah, maybe not that last one.

WHOOPS, re: your externship. When does the boss get back?

Got my SPN DVDs today, though haven't watched anything yet. Extra features are nearly zero, which is sad. I mean, they don't give great commentary in general, but you'd think they could pull together enough for more than one, at least.

In other news: Johanna requested the full Season 1 viewing of The O.C. as opposed to the highlights reel and diving into later seasons. We just finished ... Oh, Marissa just found out about Luke and Julie! The end of "The Goodbye Girl" totally made Johanna cry, and she's a complete convert/addict. We skipped "The Links" because OMG MOST ANNOYING EPISODE EVAR. I think we only have four or five left, and then SADDEST EPISODE EVER!!! I anticipate much bawling. And, apparently, Season 2 starting sometime next week. Please prepare to discuss :-)

I have decided that if I feel up to actually waiting in line by Sunday of the con, I am def going to ask Misha (and Jared if it's a co-panel) which Star Wars character he thinks Castiel is. And then squeal like the little girl that I am when he says Leia. Or when he says that Sam is Chewbacca. Maybe I should ask Richard who he thinks Gabriel is (as long as I don't accidently call him Skip) and then freak out when he says Lando. That'd be awesome.

Also, Sam is Luke. Yes. Jared is Chewbacca. Note: Jared does that "throwing his head back and making obnoxious noises/laughing/bellowing" thing and you know, Chewbacca does too. Except even when it's obnoxious, it's endearing, much like Chewie. And I want to climb them both and have snuggle-cuddles with them. (Wow, my thing about that goes back to when I was like 4 and I wanted Chewie to carry me around perched on one of his arms.)
