I woke up this morning with "Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger, can I take your orrrrder?" running through my head. Oh my brain, the things you remember.

That couldn't at all be related to my imminent embarcation into the world of food service jobs this afternoon. Of course not. ;-)

Also, I haven't seen Inception and will probably never see it because, well, because I don't like Leonardo DiCaprio. It's amazing how much of a cinematic turn-off he is for me seeing as I love everybody else in that movie, and both the director and the concept are awesome. But, ugh, Leo. There's just something about him that makes me want to run in the opposite direction.

And there are my random thoughts for today.

Awww, that's too bad! I was going to say something about going to see it anyway because it's -good-, but then I realised that it'd be kind of like suggesting that you go see The Matrix even if you disliked Keanu Reeves, so.

I know! It's so disappointing because every time I see a commercial/trailer I'm all "That looks awesome!" but then I see Leo and I remember why I can't go see it. *heavy sigh* I am so frustrated with myself.

And that is a most excellent analogy, because it's true, if you can't get past "I know kung fu" guy then you're definitely not going to enjoy The Matrix, even though the rest of the cast is fantastic. Oh movies, why so difficult?

Ahem. Anyway. Good luck with the job. It may not be glamorous, but it brings money, which, while annoying to the extreme, makes life easier.

Aw. I used to be very anti DiCaprio also, then a few years ago I saw something he was (can't remember what) and realized he'd managed the rare transformation from teenage heart-throb (who I never found attractive) making money more on looks than on acting skill into an actually decent actor. I can now enjoy him for his acting ability and it's pretty nice. Not saying you'll make that transition too - but you haven't seen anything he's done in a while, there's a chance.

I am the same way about Leo! It's weird, too--I think he's a good actor, and I have no issue with him at all, but he is such an apathy trigger for me, it's ridiculous.

What the hell is Good Burger?

I think I want to see Inception. Everyone keeps talking about it. I was going to bribe you into going - with popcorn and candy, but I can't actually afford to bribe you. But The Scarecrow looks yummy - whatever, that's his name! And Joe, omg <--Hey, look, I called him Joe and not Tommy, go me! Alright, well, maybe I'll just go rent that one movie where apparently he has lots of sex with men. Don't tell The Sister I am perving out on him though. I wish Joe were my Manny. Omg, that totally makes sense to you, right? Okay, now I want to go read more Story.

But Inception - while baylorsr is on vacation? Man, I'm never gonna convince any of you guys, because how can I argue with Leo sucks monkey butt? I can't. :(
