Aug. 8th, 2009 10:36 amIt sounds like LJ continues to be a little bitch so I'm posting from Dreamwidth again. I'm
liptonrm over here as well, just in case anyone has the burning need to find me, or the great migration actually occurs.
baylrosr and I spent the day yesterday doing some filming. We got some really great shots and the cast (of action figures) was a dream to work with. I think everyone will really enjoy the finished product. Then we went to see Star Trek at a second-run theater, cause that's how we roll.
Holy crap it's raining cats and dogs out there. I've been dogsitting at the parents' house last night and today and all I can think about are my plants in the pots with no drainage holes in the bottom. Those pots flooded once before, effectively killing the plants that were in them. But there's nothing I can do about it right at this very moment except hope that the rain dies down to a dull drizzle.
It's also been thundering, which without fail makes the Pup go "OMG WTF was that?! WHY IS THE SKY EXPLODING OMG!?" and then try to wedge his entire 60+ lb body under the desk to hide at my feet. Poor Pup, he doesn't like fireworks either.
FYI, I'm the SPN reccer over at
crack_van this month. I've been having a lot of fun with it, though creating a list of recs with only 12-13 stories on it was hard, yo. And only one crossover?! OMG. But I think I've put together a pretty great group of stories and getting to spread the Gen/AU love is always a good thing.
I very much want food that is not present in this house and yet do not want to go out in the rain to get it. Pfft, what am I talking about?! *facepalms* There's an oven here that actually works! That's it, I'm gonna bake something. Excellent.
All right, then. Carry on about your business. And if you're all very good I might share some cookies with you when I'm done.
