Hello sun! How I've missed you!

I killed that paper, killed it good and dead. I'm glad it was a rough draft, though, because I'm not completely satisfied with some of my arguments 'n stuff. We did mini-presentations in class yesterday, and it was interesting that, while other people did look at fairy tales, I was the only person who viewed the fairy tale format as appropriate for adults and adult-oriented stories. Fantasy, it's not just for kids anymore;-).

Big thanks to [livejournal.com profile] hlgraban and [livejournal.com profile] gtaotaku for their insightful comments on magic in the modern world. What you both said helped me greatly as I was contemplating, writing and organizing my arguments. *big hug*

Couldn't decide whether I wanted to get up this morning. Still not sure that I am;-).

I wanted to help, but my mind was drawing a blank on the subject. Glad other friends could help you out! :)

Aaaw, don't worry about it. I'm sure your response would have been so amazing that I would have had to change the whole subject of the paper because of my sudden unworthiness to write on the topic when you had already described it so brilliantly.

Or... something like that;-).

Wow, you just boosted my ego up another notch! I'm sure Danielle will really appreciate that. ;-)

Always glad to give an opinion! All those thoughts in my head have got to be good for something, after all! Now, I'm going to go to bed and read myself to sleep! Thanks for coming over tonight! It was fun! Oh the angst! Well... maybe next fall TV will be better? Hey, there's always Alias, even if Vaughn is a little annoying sometimes (Mr. Completely oblivious to my wife being a double agent, working for the Covenant, and cheating on me with Sark!). Seriously, what an idiot. He must've been in denial for some time before now, or maybe he was in la-la land with Sydney. Well, whatever... they need to involve Weiss more. He SO could've busted Lauren last ep.

Oh, and P.S.- I don't know if you even watch this anymore, God knows I don't, but my dad always has the TV on, so I catch glimpses of it. Did you know that William Shatner is a main character on The Practice now? He's this really obnoxious high-up lawyer, and he always repeats his name to people. Someone asked him why, and he said because his name speaks for itself, it's all he needs to say! Freaking hilarious. Anyway, from glimpsed previews, looks like he's taking over the firm, or something... Scary... William Shatner as a lawyer! *Shudder*

I heard this show will end after this season, and a new show will take over its place starring David Spader. He plays the main character on the show. I don't watch it, so I don't know how good it is or anything. I just remember seeing that on ET or something.

I'm of the opinoin that they always need to involve Weiss more, you can't ever get enough Weiss;-).

Actually, fall TV looks pretty decent, what with that new 'lost on a desert island' show from JJ Abrams and Alec Newman in Dark Shadows. I also hear Greg Grunberg is going to get his own midseason replacement show next year. And I will love Alias more if they have more Jack. Jack is just teh coolest.

I heard about that (even though I don't watch The Practice anymore. That show just got painful). William Shatner's going to be in some sort of spinoff that will probably be like watching a train wreck, fascinating in the 'I should really run away now before the train explodes, but I just can't take my eyes off it' sort of way;-).

Yeah, I've been hearing some really good things about James Spader. Still won't watch The Practice to find out if they're true, though;-).
