(no subject)

So, dodger_sister has gotten me hooked on So You Think You Can Dance. I'd be more ashamed except the dancers are really freaking good. So now we spend an hour, or so, on Thursdays trying to choose who we thought the best dancers were and then we spend a little over an hour on Fridays waving our hands in the air over who was sent home this week. It is quite entertaining, even when they do things like break up our favorite couples.

I've really picked up a lot of bad TV viewing habits here at FGC, what with this and Teen Mom I don't know how I'll be able to show my face in respectable company ever again. Oh, wait, what am I saying, I've written SPN fanfic. I left respectable behind a long way back. ;-)

Speaking of, I finally got my hands on the whole of Mumford & Sons 'Sigh No More' album. Oh my giddy aunt it is amazing. This album, this whole album, is what I wish season 6 of Supernatural had been. It's about recovery, surviving the bad times and rising above them. It's about hope and love and grace and standing with the people who love us and who we love.

It makes me so melancholy for what never was.
