(no subject)

I just got home from my law school graduation and the celebratory dinner afterwards.

I know, I can't believe I've finished law school either. In fact, there were a number of times, even a couple weeks ago, when I thought I wouldn't make it, that I was done and that I'd never finish. I'm sure I'll surprise no one when I say that I'm having a lot of feelings right at this very moment (liberally tinged with exhaustion).

But I did it. I have a law degree. It's kind of amazing.

It's not hyperbole when I say that I never would have made it through law school without baylorsr, dodger_sister, and hiyacynth. They've done more for me than I could ever possibly say. They've been more than friends and, truthfully, this degree is founded on the support, love, and help that they've given me. Thank you, for everything and more. I love you.

And thanks to all of my lj friends. You've been an enormous help, whether you knew it or not. Sometimes, your mere act of making a post was what got me through the day, honestly and truthfully. Thank you for being you, for being the awesome people you inherently are. You're wonderful, each and every single one of you.

Now I'm going to bed. Because it's been a big day.
