Feb. 16th, 2009 02:19 pmHappy Presidents' Day! It makes me grin everytime I remember that the U.S. once again has a president I can be happy about.
Did I tell you guys that my brothers are being bitchy little drama queens? Well, they totally are, which is kind of hilarious from where I'm sitting since I don't have to actually do anything about it. My only job is to listen to them when they bitch at me about the other one and metaphorically pet their heads and let them know that Big Sister understands their pain. Boys. *shakes head fondly*
Speaking of boys and presidents, have you all seen the inauguration Spider-man comic that Marvel put out? It is awesome and hilarious in equal measures. Though I think my favorite part is everything having to do with Joe Biden. &<3s
Did I tell you all that the Baylor Sister got me a Lucy doll for Christmas? Well she did and it is marvelous. Though, poor Legolas does have some concerns as she is taller than he is, but I tell him all of the time that he's still the prettiest girl at the prom which makes him feel better. Also, glory be, the doll company also makes a coronation dress that I have to buy as soon as I have some spendable cash. Because Lucy is great but Queen Lucy is even greater.
And I solemnly promise not to destroy my new dolls the way I did the ones the Mum got me when I was little. Hey, if you give a 4 year-old dolls to play with she'll play with them, even if they are super-expensive Madame Alexandre Little Women dolls. At least they weren't subjected to the tornado that blew threw my dollhouse (my brothers had barbarians for friends).
As I'm sure you all can guess, I'm not going to be tuning in for that Dollhouse show. Me and Joss have parted ways and though I'll always appreciate the good times we had I just can't bring myself to go down that path again.
Seriously, when are fangirls going to start making tv shows? I really want that to happen, like really a lot.
