OMG, never leave me again, o blessed machine. I'm not entirely sure how I survived without you. *hugs laptop to chest*
In all honesty, I've had it back since Wednesday, but it's been so unrelentingly hot here that my brain has been rather pudding-like. I would've had it on Monday, but that was the day the family and I left for Richmond, VA. See, the Big Lug decided to move way down south and we all went to help him out. It necessitated driving 12 hours on Monday and then turning around and driving 12 hours home on Tuesday. Suffice it to say, I never want to do anything like that ever again. It was torturous. But the Big Lug is safely ensconced in his new residence with his new roommate. He will hopefully soon have a job and become a productive member of Virginia society.
Am deep in edits of chapter four. And when I say deep in edits I mean I want to take the entire chapter and throw it against a wall and then stamp on it for good measure. Please forgive me,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
hiyacynth for not being understanding enough when you were slogging through your own chapter four. I think edits of this nature should be deemed completely illegal as a matter of jus cogens. No one should ever have to suffer through such degradation.
I've had a post about being a woman and being a mormon and the difficulties of navigating the two brewing for a while. This is also related to the Stephanie Meyer and the Twilight books (which I have not read) and how different it is to be a mormon raised in the Mountain West to being one raised in any other part of the world. Ugh, why is it I can only think about complicated and messy topics, lately? There's that and there's politics and family drama and bleh. None of this is doing anything to make me any less of a BOFQ.
Okay, yeah, this post was supposed to be a lot happier than it turned out being. Because I CAN HAZ COMPUTER certainly deserves better than nihilism and depression. I'll do better, computer, I promise. *pets*
