Jan. 31st, 2007 05:11 pmWell aren't I just all kinds of talkative this week? Course load's been a little lighter, less then normal to do in Contracts and in Civ Pro we're finally going to be covering the stuff we prepared for last week. Free time generally leads to me doing things like refreshing my friends' list instead of productive-type things, especially when I'm low on money. That student loan can't come through a moment too soon, let me tell you what.
Can I say how much I love the SPN fandom? I post a fic last night and by the time I get home from class this afternoon it already has more comments then I've ever received on any story I've ever written. I have a long fandom history but this is the first time I've actually posted fic in a large, active fandom and, well, it's very encouraging. And, no, of course I didn't sit in Contracts watching the clock, counting down the minutes until I could get home to check my email. I would never do that. *shifty Charles Grodin eyes*
That reminds me, FYI, SciFi is marathoning Dark Angel tomorrow during the day. I already have my VCR set for 10, 11, 12 and 3 EST. A few more episodes then that are playing but I have my ... priorities.
I just went and bought a new black suit with a shiny credit card but the jacket is doesn't sit quite right. I might be taking it back because Clinton and Stacy might not entirely approve. Though they'd love the top I bought with it. But now I want a nap.
I've been doing the SlimFast thing to take off holiday weight and today at lunch I looked at the can and couldn't contemplate drinking it. I ate cold fried rice instead. Sometimes I think being fat and happy is the way to go but then I go clothes shopping and reevaluate that opinion. ;-)
