Jul. 27th, 2006 11:12 amSo, the universe was taking the piss out of me the past week. First with the moodiness and then I got sick again on Sunday so I've been doing the whole uncomfortable thing for a while. Today, thankfully, I'm feeling a million times better and while I'm not completely 100% yet I'm close enough as to make no difference.
Of course, what this all means is that in the past week and a half I haven't gotten any writing done, which is lamentable and annoying. I hope to get cracking on that this evening.
I have gotten to watch a ton of BSG season one and listen to the corresponding commentaries. I want to move to Vancouver and work with David Eick so badly it hurts. On Sunday I was this close to packing everything into my car and moving to Canada and if it weren't for law school in ... four weeks *gulp* I just might have done it. I'm definitely harboring a little tv creative team jealousy over here.
I am woefully behind on feedbacking stories and I don't know if I'll ever catch up. Supernatural fandom, you are wonderfully productive and full of so much genius (and crack) that losing a day, not to mention a week and a half, makes playing catch up extremely overwhelming. Never change.
One last thing before I go bitch-slap the copier. Saw Munich with the Big Lug on Saturday. It's a good, thoughtful movie that I can highly recommend. It's not a happy movie but it does a good job of telling a difficult story without preachiness or melodrama. I would have to say it's Spielburg's most accomplished movie, from a technical stand point, and that's saying a lot. It made me think and ponder for days which is always a good thing.
Yeap, that's about it. Now I'm off to battle with the copier, once again.
