OMGosh, you guys. I feel like absolute and utter crap. I think I'm getting sick again. Suck. Am not terribly surprised, it's about time for it, anyway.

Too tired to say much. Had a fabulous day on Saturday. It's amazing how cathartic crappy disaster movies can be. Especially when combined with chippies and dippies and chocolate chip cookies.

Though, it is probably true that fangirls should never be allowed to congregate. Scary things happen.

Word Origin of the Day: Shuffle - Referring to "a distinctive style of slow, stumbling gait," this word originated in Low German, where it began as the verb schuffeln, meaning "to walk in a clumsy manner." Some sources believe this form may have been influenced by an earlier Germanic verb that meant "to shove," perhaps linked by cause and effect - shoving causing stumbling or shuffling. In any case, the first published evidence in the English form was used in reference to playing cards came in the 1500s. Another application in games was with "shuffleboard," but before this term popped up in the 1800s, this pastime was called "shove-board," another indication of the link between "shuffle" and "shove."
