Jun. 17th, 2005 09:48 amLast night was the Night of TV. Okay, TV and grocery shopping but grocery shopping is dull even if I did buy ice cream.
So, television. I am now the proud viewer of two episodes of Veronica Mars and yes it is a good show. Is it my new obsession? Who knows but it is engaging and the acting is first rate and I can't wait to find out who killed Lilly Kane so it's doing everything it needs to to make me watch, so that is good.
Prisoner of Azkaban was playing on HBO again and I flipped in and out a few times. Any man who carries chocolate around with him and considers it the cure todementor attacks all things is quite possibly the perfect man and I must find one. There also must be a movie made with all of my redheads in it. In some perfect universe there is a movie that stars Rupert Grint and Damian Lewis and Alan Tudyk and Scott Grimes and Gillian Anderson and it would be beautiful and charming and I would die of happiness.
Also popped in The Last Patrol and watched Webster being Webster. Having Colin Hanks play Lt. Jones is unbelievably meta and rather delightful. The Spawn of Tom (as I used to call him back in the day when he was on Roswell) is a good little actor, I like him. I enjoyed seeing Matthew Settle be Speirs rather then Jacob Wheeler and am impressed at how talented all of my boys are. They can all play pretty much anything. Except Eion Baily, he always plays Webster but he plays him so well that he gets special acting points in my book. =D
Going to see Batman Begins tonight. Am very excited.
Michigan strawberries have just burst into season. I'm hoping for a bumper crop this year that I can freeze and enjoy for months to come.
