(no subject)

Am feeling ridiculously silly and girly today and it's totally the weather's fault. I look out my office window and see a bright expanse of gloriously blue sky. The weather is so warm and sunny that I don't even need to wear a jacket. I'm decked out in sandles and a bright aquamarine skirt that is short and thin and something I would never wear in the winter. I feel cute, which is a nice escape from the normal.

I go on and on, mostly to myself, about how un-girly I am, how I prefer pants to skirts, hate pink with an unholy passion and dislike carting purses of any size or sort around, but then days like this happen and I totally have to eat my words. Mmmmm, words taste kind of like chocolate, yummy.

Have begun subsisting on Easter leftovers. Today's delicacies included Easter basket candy, Easter eggs and a ham sandwich.

Random questions for the cosmos: Why are cute shoes generally uncomfortable and why are comfortable shoes generally not cute? Why don't paratroopers fit into easter eggs? Why does The Canterbury Tales make the Big Lug think of bunnies? Why won't the producers of Lost hire me? Why don't I have a Yay! It's Spring! icon? Why am I not outside?
