It Was Brilliant!

The concert was everything I could have wished it to be, and more. It was amazing. I went into it knowing that I would love it because, hey, it was Sarah MacLachlan and my love for her work can be used as a definition of 'devoted fan', but, not having seen her in concert before, there was no way I could have been prepared for the way the music owned me. I sat there, enthralled, tears running down my cheeks at one moment and screaming my throat out at another. The things she did with songs I thought I already knew, the sheer emotional power of her voice, I'm ... I have no words. It was just.that.good. and I'm so overjoyed that I went.

And is it weird that I totally wanted to sleep in the concert t-shirt I bought, just so I could hold on to that euphoria for a little while longer? Naaah, I didn't think so;-).
