Winter Storm Watch
Jan. 26th, 2004 01:38 pmBrrr. We're going to get lots of snow tonight and tomorrow, or so the weather gurus say. I can't believe that only a month ago I was wishing for more snow. I was wrong, I'm sorry! Please go away and leave us in peace!;-).
On the plus side I might not have to drive to class tomorrow. Yay plus side!
On an even plus-ier side Return of the King won lots of Golden Globes last night. Yay! I wasn't even going to watch the Golden Globes, but I watched the end of The Faculty on SciFi, remembered the awards were on, and decided to watch them anyway. I didn't see everything, but I saw all of the important stuff. All I have to say is, Mr. Jackson, dear, we all already knew you were a hobbit. It's okay, it's why we love you;-). I'm always happy when movies I love get the respect they deserve. I just have to remember not to watch the Oscars with my family around, I'm going to want to squee and yell and stuff and I always feel uncomfortable doing that around everyone else. They know I'm obsessed, I know I'm obsessed, I just don't want them to see the fruits of my obsession, that's all.
Oh, funny comment, while watching the Mum said only Johnny Depp could wear the hat he was wearing. I can't believe it, Mum is feeling the Johnny Depp love, it's so surreal;-).
Been having a very up and down weekend. I swear, these mood swings will be the death of me, one day I'm up, the next day I can't go two minutes without sobbing. I'm placing the blame fully on you, you evil month of January. It's a good thing for you that you'll be over soon.
Okay, I loved Howard Shore before, but after seeing this picture I think I'm totally in love with him. So cute!
