Only in Michigan

Only here do we start out the day at nearly 40 degrees, drop to 25 degrees and have appreciable snow cover by the next morning. It might have been all lake effect snow, but there was enough to make driving home from work last night a little more bitchy then usual;-). I have to admit, though, no matter how much I complain, it was still gorgeous to look at. My dog absolutely loved it;-). It's always so much fun to watch dogs and kids bound around in the snow, they're so joyful while doing it.

The office is very quiet this week, almost too quiet;-). Perhaps that's a feeling of foreboding in the air, or perhaps it's just some pre-Thanksgiving excitement. A holiday that celebrates food, family and sleep, what more could a hobbit like me hope for?
