Jan. 11th, 2007 11:14 pmI have all sorts of thinky-thoughts about tonight's Supernatural that I don't have the time, or the alertness, to type up at the moment. I will say that I was very satisfied with what went down, not hand-flappy but very, very satisfied. Yeah, I know they didn't reveal the 'big' secret and I'm absolutely positive John knew what it was but he's John Winchester and he's pretty much a son of a bitch. I say that with love but it's still true.
I love Sam. I love Dean. I love Ellen and Eva. Gordon is a great character.
Fandom is already shitting bricks, either in love or hate and called pretty much all of the revealed secrets months ago. Obviously Kripke reads our livejournals and, somehow, I'm okay with that;-)
Yeah, definitely more thoughts later. Also thoughts on how Supernatural is really a weekly western rather then a weekly horror movie. And also thoughts on why Kripke's view of the world works so much better for me then Whedon's (and I'm not talking male-female stuff, I'm talking optimism vs. pessimism and things of that nature). But not until after the weekend.
hiyacynth is coming down and we're going to have a lot to ruminate over at FGC (and when I say 'ruminate' I mean 'obssess').
