It's nearly 100 degrees and the AC in the office has been broken for most of today. OMG! There is no air flow! I will sweat myself to death and when the cleaning crew finds my puddled remains and the police arrest the building manager for negligent homicide he will only have himself to blame.

And now my boss has piled about a million projects on my desk that I need to set up and it's already 4 o'clock. I hope he knows I'm not staying to finish all of this. It's too hot to be self-sacrificing.

Mainlined on The O.C. season 2 this weekend, got through 4 discs. I don't know whether to thank [livejournal.com profile] hiyacynth or curse her name. Anyway, I about busted a gut because there was this one episode where Sandy had to go to jail to interview an old friend of his who might know the wherabouts of Sandy's college fiancee (who was on the run because she was involved with blowing up a ... nuclear power plant? I'm not sure, I tuned out a lot of that sub-plot because I, like Julie Cooper-Nichol, cannot stand it when Sandy and Kirsten fight) and the inmate was none other then John Winchester! I laughed and laughed and laughed and made many snarky comments and asked John where his boys were and it was great fun.

And then I just had to go watch 'Devil's Trap' even though I swore to myself I wouldn't watch it again until right before the s.2 premiere because I didn't want to overdose on SPN (if that is possible) but it doesn't matter because the ep is still buckets of awesome even though I've watched it again and again and again and I might have been crying at the end. I love my show.

And Dean Winchester meeting Ryan Atwood would either be the greatest thing ever or the worst thing possible in any multiverse, I'm not sure which.

HEY! Apparently the BBC is making a new Dracula with Marc Warren in the titular role. Our Blithe, our Danny Blue, is now also going to be our ... Dracula. I'll give you all a moment to think that over.

Oh, and because I've seen it around but not on my f-list, per se, Daniel Radcliffe is going to appear in a play in London called Equus wherein he will be naked on stage. And there's a horse. The world is a crazy, wonderful place.

OK, I'm off, it's too damn hot to live.

I have the same problem. I swore I wasn't going to touch it until right before s2 started. And then what did I do? Sat down last week and rewatched DMB/Salvation/DT. Can't keep away from the stuff. And it made my brain curl up and whimper just as much as ever. (Someday I'll get over DT. I will).

is raining and raining and raining here bleh.

WOT? sweet lil' Danny Blue? Poor anxiety-disorder'd Blithe? who's mina? *needs always to ask who is mina because is in love with mina harker*

Mwahahahaha (evil laugh) you have given yourself over to Newport; you are now using sentences in which you compare yourself to Julie Cooper-Nicholl (and use her full name whenever you reference her.) Yeah, been having quite a few Vortexy moments with that show. (Still harping on the fact that Kirsten was married to Buck Compton in Boomtown.)

I'm just about resigned to the fact that my day of DT resignation will never actually come. You would think that after all of the viewings, all of the fic and meta that I've consumed that I would finally be over it but no, it still kicks me in the gut every.single.time.

The Winchesters own me, apparently, unsurpisingly. Wow, thank goodness they use their powers for good and not evil.

Is it possible to excape the allure of Newport Beach? And if it is possible why whould anyone ever want to do so?

I am not sure who is playing Mina Harker though the fangirls I got the information from knew who she was rather then knowing anything about our dear Marc Warren.

Like, three-quarters of the reason for my desire to work in the entertainment industry is the image of sitting at my desk cackling to myself as I hired this person from that show and that person from the other show for my latest project. Hollywood = the greatest mindfuck ever. =D

So, any plans to visit London and take in some theater? It's ... cultured and all that jazz. *smirk*

Heh. I heard the Joker casting news and I was ambivalent. I still am and I don't know why. Heath Ledger's got the chops but I don't have the same OMG! it's perfect! reaction that I did with Christian Bale. I think my entire problem is that I watched too many cartoons as a child, errr, adult, whatever. ;-)

Or perhaps I'm just bummed because there are Two-Face casting rumors and that means they aren't using my genius Rachel Dawes idea and that makes me sad. I really shouldn't get so attached to ideas that I know will never happen because I'm just not that powerful yet.

Of course you're a good boy.
